Do Samsung Galaxy phones support eSIM?

Do Google Pixel phones support eSIM?

All Google Pixel phones from the Pixel 2 (2017) onward support eSIM. Pixel 7 and later support Dual eSIM. US Pixel 8 and Pixel 9 models are eSIM-only with no physical SIM tray.

Does my phone need to be unlocked for a travel eSIM?

Yes. Your phone must be carrier-unlocked to use a third-party eSIM like Roamix. Carrier-locked phones can only use eSIMs from their locked carrier. Check Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock (iPhone) or contact your carrier to unlock.

Do OnePlus phones support eSIM?

Yes. OnePlus 11, OnePlus 12, OnePlus 13, and OnePlus Open support eSIM in most markets. Some OnePlus variants sold for specific regional carriers may be SIM-only. Confirm by going to Settings → SIM & network → Add eSIM on your device.

Do Motorola phones support eSIM?

Yes, many Motorola phones support eSIM. The Motorola Razr foldable series (2019 onward), Motorola Edge 40 Pro and later, and the ThinkPhone all include eSIM. Most budget Moto G models do not. Check Settings → Network & internet → SIM cards on your device.

Do laptops and tablets support eSIM?

Yes. Several Windows laptops and Microsoft Surface devices support eSIM, including the Surface Pro 9, Surface Pro X, Dell Latitude eSIM models, and select Lenovo ThinkPad models. Apple iPads with cellular support eSIM from iPad Air 3rd gen and iPad Pro 3rd gen onward. Roamix data plans work with any eSIM-capable laptop or tablet as well as smartphones.

What does 'eSIM-only' mean on iPhone?

eSIM-only iPhones have no physical SIM card tray and can only use eSIM profiles. US models of iPhone 14, iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone SE 4th generation are eSIM-only. International versions of these same models retain a physical SIM slot alongside eSIM support. If you have a US iPhone 14 or later and need to switch carriers abroad, you must use an eSIM — which makes a travel eSIM like Roamix the only option.
