Motorola Razr 60 / Ultra (2025)

The Motorola Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra (2025) support eSIM on the global variant. One active eSIM alongside the physical nano-SIM.

Critical foldable note: eSIM activation requires the phone to be fully unfolded (inner main display active). The outer cover screen cannot access the Settings app needed for eSIM provisioning. Always open the flip completely before starting.

US carrier variant: Motorola releases carrier-specific builds for the US market. Verizon and T-Mobile Razr models may not include eSIM hardware. Confirm the global variant by model number before purchasing a plan.

How to Activate eSIM on Motorola Razr 60 Series

Setting up your digital SIM takes only a minute:

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Network & internet.
3. Tap SIMs.
4. Tap Add SIM or the + (plus) icon.
5. Tap Download a SIM instead.
6. Scan the Roamix QR code from your email.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the download.
8. Set the Roamix line as your preferred data SIM.
9. Turn on Data Roaming in the settings for the Roamix line.

Razr 60 eSIM for International Travel

Roamix works with any unlocked Razr 60. Purchase a plan, scan the QR code with the phone fully open, and connect to local networks on arrival.

Carrier unlock check: Settings → About phone → SIM status. Contact your carrier to unlock if needed.

Troubleshooting Razr 60 eSIM

QR code won't scan: Must be fully unfolded (main inner display) for QR scanning — the external cover screen cannot initiate eSIM installation. Open completely and start from Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.

"Download a SIM instead" not visible: US carrier-branded Razr 60 models may not have eSIM hardware. Check Settings → About phone → Model. Contact your carrier to unlock if you have a global model.

eSIM installed but no data abroad: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → select Roamix → enable Data Roaming → set as preferred data SIM. Toggle Airplane Mode on/off to reset.

QR code scan fails even when fully open: Try manual entry using the SM-DP+ address from your Roamix confirmation email. Tap "Enter manually" during the activation flow instead of using the camera scanner.
