Should I buy exactly the recommended data amount?

For typical leisure travelers, the recommended amount is usually sufficient with the 20% buffer already included. However, if you plan heavy streaming, use apps like TikTok or YouTube a lot, frequently tether other devices via hotspot, or work remotely (video calls, file uploads), we recommend choosing one or two tiers above the recommendation to avoid running out mid-trip.
