iPhone Air

iPhone Air is Apple's first globally eSIM-only iPhone. It features no physical SIM tray in any region, including Mainland China, making it the most travel-ready iPhone ever.

iPhone 17 Series

The iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max support eSIM and Dual eSIM. They are eSIM-only in the USA and several other regions, but retain a physical SIM slot elsewhere. Fully compatible with Roamix for travel.

iPhone 16 Series

Every iPhone 16 model supports eSIM. US models are eSIM-only with no physical SIM tray. Supports Dual eSIM — two active lines simultaneously. Compatible with Roamix for 190+ countries.

iPhone 15 Series

All iPhone 15 models support eSIM. US models are eSIM-only. Dual eSIM lets you run two lines at once — keep your home number active while using Roamix for data abroad.

Apple iPad Air

iPad Air cellular models support eSIM. iPad Air M1 (2022) has eSIM + nano-SIM. iPad Air M2 (2024) in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes is eSIM-only — no physical SIM tray. Wi-Fi-only models have no eSIM.

Apple iPad Pro

iPad Pro cellular models support eSIM. M2 iPad Pro (2022) has eSIM + nano-SIM. M4 iPad Pro (2024) is eSIM-only — no physical SIM tray. Both generations support Dual eSIM on cellular configurations.

iPhone 14 Series

iPhone 14 was the first iPhone to go eSIM-only in the US. All four models support Dual eSIM. International versions include a nano-SIM slot. Works with Roamix for travel data in 190+ countries.

iPhone 13 Series

All iPhone 13 models support eSIM with a physical nano-SIM slot alongside. Dual eSIM lets you run two active lines. Includes 13 mini, 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max.

iPhone SE

iPhone SE 2nd gen (2020), SE 3rd gen (2022), and SE 4th gen (2024) all support eSIM. The SE 3rd gen added Dual eSIM. The SE 4th gen is eSIM-only in the US.

iPhone 12 Series

All iPhone 12 models support eSIM with Dual eSIM capability (2 active lines). Physical nano-SIM slot is present. Includes iPhone 12 mini, 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max.

iPhone 11 Series

All iPhone 11 models support eSIM alongside a physical nano-SIM. One active eSIM at a time (Dual eSIM not supported). Includes iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max.

iPhone X / XS / XR Series

iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR (2018) support eSIM alongside a physical nano-SIM. One active eSIM at a time. The original iPhone X (2017) does NOT support eSIM.

iPad

iPad cellular models from the 6th generation (2018) onward support eSIM. Wi-Fi-only iPads have no cellular capability. Covers iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini, and iPad Pro models.

Apple Watch

Apple Watch cellular models have built-in eSIM starting with Series 3 (2017). The eSIM shares your iPhone's number. Works independently for calls and data without your iPhone nearby.
