Roamix accepts all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Every payment is processed by Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment platforms — and we never store your full card number on our servers.
What Payment Methods Does Roamix Accept?
You can pay for any Roamix eSIM plan using the following methods:
- Visa — credit and debit
- Mastercard — credit and debit
- American Express
- Discover
- Apple Pay (Safari on iPhone/Mac or the Roamix app on iOS)
- Google Pay (Chrome or the Roamix app on Android)
We currently do not accept PayPal, bank transfers, or cryptocurrency. If you need an alternative payment arrangement, contact support@roamix.app.
Is It Safe to Pay on Roamix?
Yes. All payments are handled by Stripe, the same infrastructure powering millions of businesses worldwide including Shopify, Lyft, and Airbnb. When you enter your card details on Roamix:
- Your card number is tokenized immediately and sent directly to Stripe — it never touches our servers.
- All connections use TLS 1.2+ encryption.
- Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment security certification.
- We store only the last four digits of your card and the card type for display purposes.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Apple Pay and Google Pay are the fastest checkout options on Roamix. One tap confirms your identity using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device PIN — no card entry required.
Both methods use device-generated one-time tokens, meaning your actual card number is never shared with the merchant. This makes them just as secure (often more so) than manually entering card details.
To use Apple Pay, you'll need Safari or the Roamix iOS app with a card already added to your Apple Wallet. Google Pay works in Chrome or the Roamix Android app.
What Currency Does Roamix Charge In?
All Roamix plans are priced and charged in USD (US Dollars). If your card is issued in another currency, your bank or card provider will handle the conversion at their current exchange rate. Currency conversion fees, if any, are set by your bank — Roamix does not add any conversion surcharge.
What If My Payment Fails?
If your payment is declined at checkout, don't worry — you have not been charged. Common causes include incorrect card details, insufficient funds, or your bank blocking an unfamiliar international transaction. See our payment declined guide for step-by-step fixes.
