No Hidden Roaming Fees — Roamix Is 100% Prepaid

Roamix is 100% prepaid. You pay one fixed price for a set amount of data, and that is the only charge. There are no overage fees, no monthly subscriptions, and no surprise charges at the end of your trip.

Roamix Is Strictly Prepaid

Every Roamix plan works like a prepaid data voucher. You choose a plan — for example, 5 GB for 30 days in Europe — pay for it once, and that's it. The price you see at checkout is the total price, including all applicable charges. There is nothing added at the end.

This is fundamentally different from how traditional carrier roaming works. With carrier roaming, you're often billed per megabyte or per day after the fact, which can lead to shocking bills when you get home.

No Overage Charges, Ever

When your Roamix data allowance runs out, your internet access pauses. That's it. You will not be charged a single cent more than what you paid. Roamix has no technical mechanism to bill you for extra data — the plan simply stops.

If you want to continue using data, you can top up your plan from the Roamix app at a price you choose in advance. Top-ups are also prepaid and also have no overage.

No Monthly Subscription

Roamix is pay-as-you-go. Each plan covers a specific trip or time period — typically 7, 15, or 30 days. When the plan expires, nothing happens to your account and no payment is taken. There is no renewal, no auto-billing, and no membership fee.

You only spend money on Roamix when you choose to buy a plan.

What Happens When Data Runs Out?

  1. Your internet connection on the Roamix eSIM stops working
  2. You receive a push notification and/or email from Roamix alerting you that your data is exhausted
  3. You can top up instantly via the Roamix app if you want to continue
  4. Alternatively, you can connect to Wi-Fi or use your home SIM (if you have one active)

You'll also receive an alert at 80% usage so you have time to plan ahead.
